Taro Collection
Taro, in the widely spoken Hausa language of Western Africa, means ‘reunion’, ‘congregation’ or ‘gatherings’.
Created with glitz and sparkle to inspire optimism, hope and celebrations, after the last 18 months of surviving a global pandemic.

A Sprinkling Of Shine And Lustre
We had been yearning for another editorial shoot since our last in January 2020, and the months of loss, despondency and isolation that we have all felt during the pandemic made that yearning all the stronger; we needed optimism, hope and celebration.
Thus, the Taro collection was born: a celebration of bringing that shine back into our lives.
On a personal note, the beginning and ending of this editorial gave me an opportunity to breathe anew, taking all that nervousness, uncertainty and marrying it up with my creative flair, auditor eye for details and passion to really bring forth the optimism, shine and lustre of Taro. Special thanks to my sister, CEO House of Farrah, my husband, family and friends. I am so pleased with what was accomplished and hope you will be too.
