Founded in 2017, by Zainab Aliyu (CEO & Creative Director), AABOUX is a stylish luxurious leather brand, that handcrafts limited-edition statement pieces using the finest and most exquisite leathers.
Our specialised stitch-less technique and composition, using fascinating combinations of globally and ethically sourced skins from across the globe has been perfected by our third-generation artisans in Lagos, Nigeria.
Our distinct and elegant silhouettes using unique textures, prints and colours of high quality and sustainably sourced skins, offer a range of exclusive and collectable pieces which builds into the desirability of owning a unique, aesthetically pleasing and customised product, designed for you!
Every bag is a statement piece in it’s own right, and expresses one’s personal style and individuality.
Each piece designed feels like a child of mine, birthed with love and pride.
We are passionate and proud to be part of changing the narrative around Africa by breaking stereotypes and excelling in our craft, customer service and experience from start to finish.

EXCELLENCE, CREATIVITY & INNOVATION, INTEGRITY, RESPECT, TEAMWORK & COLLABORATION
We are a value chain conscious business and ethically and sustainably source our skins, from by-products of agriculture. We actively seek women-owned businesses to work with.
We also aim to minimize waste by developing products to optimize resources. We also offer a Made To Order service to reduce excess inventory.
We are committed to developing our workforce and creating a safe workspace, paying fair and living wages (not minimum wage), providing flexible working options for women, inclusion and diversity in the workplace.
We also believe in giving back to our communities – through donations to health (mental and physical) initiatives and supporting education.
